Losing streak at 2

My feelings, along with every Cleveland sports fan, can be summed up in three words: What. the. f***?

My top concerns:
1. Shaq can be a HUGE help or an even BIGGER hinderance. Right now, he is the latter. The Cavs don't know how to play that style of ball, and it shows when they get into half court sets.
2. Anthony Parker is afraid. He passes every chance he gets. It's like how I am when I am playing with better teammates. Who am I to take a shot? I'll just give it to one of the better guys and make them make the play. Sorry bud, difference between me and you is you're a professional. Get it together, or let Jamario Moon take your spot. Or your sister.
3. Mike Brown still doesn't coach.
4. I know it's early, but the Lakers are really, really, ridiculously good looking.
5. Dear JJ Hickson, just cause it's not preseason doesn't mean you should quit trying to prove yourself.
6. Dear Mo Will... remember last season when you were the go to shooter, and gave us the other offensive threat we needed? Welp, we still need it. Quit watching LeBron and start scoring.
7. Two of my former favorite players, KG and Jose Calderon, beat us up in consecutive nights. I hate them both now (only kidding Jose, don't get upset)

That's all, I'm annoyed, hope it can change in Minneapolis Friday night. Cleveland sports FTW.

The Cavs are back, and so am I

In the image of Ma$e, Jay-Z, and Michael Jordan, I have decided to make yet another return to the blogging scene. I realized quickly after getting knocked out of the playoffs last year that this was really a blog about the Cavs. I tried my best to add funny videos or links to new music, but it wasn't enough to keep me interested. And don't even get me started on Twitter, which I admit is stupid. Useful in some situations, and different than Facebook... but stupid nonetheless.

The Cleveland Cavaliers kicked off another season last night at home against Raymond Felton's Charlotte Bobcats (Sorry Nazr Mohammed, I can't get you ownership considering it's your 7th team in 6 years). The first huge story line was obviously the coming out party for The Big "whatever," Shaquille O'Neal. He hit his first free throw, had a few easy buckets, and an easy blocked shot. Now I know that you cannot weigh preseason too heavily, but the immediate chemistry between LeBron and Shaq was a promising sign of what is to come. It seems like O'Neal is still humble enough to not want the spotlight, and continues with his motto of wanting to "win a ring for The King." I'm onboard, I'm sold, and I can't wait to see their intros in game one against Boston.

The other big story was the play of our large group of fresh faces. A few of the biggest standouts from what I saw were Jamario Moon and Coby Karl. Moon was all over the court defensively and had at least two solid blocks in the second half. Karl took care of the offensive end of the floor and was very active away from the ball. He is also possibly uglier than his dad, which might be just as big of a feat. But in addition there were a few other players who made some noise and seem like are earning their spots on the roster.

Final notes: J.J. Hickson has improved greatly, similar to Varejao's improvement before last season. This is good. Delonte needs to get away from the team until the regular season starts. I realize everyone supports him in the organization, but he is not contributing to the team in any way. LeBron James got Braylon traded two days after he punched his friend. What happens if LeBron moves to NYC? Braylon back in 2010? Just sayin'...
