Hey everyone, I unfortunately did not get to see the game tonight because I was at work!! So that was frustrating for me, but even more frustrating was that I thought I was going to see the last half. But then when I got home I had nowhere to watch it, so I followed online "live," although actually seeing players move instead of stats update would have been better. Anyways, I need to know how we looked in game 1 of the series. Obviously by the score we faired well, but how did you feel about it? How did we look? How did the MVP perform? Any highlight plays?
Feel free to comment, this post should turn into more of a discussion than anything. Thanks, and GO LEBRONALIERS!!

In the first half, I thought our defense could have played better. We (as in the Cavs) gave up way too many wide open shots and layups. Mike Bibby seemed to make every shot he took, including several 3's.
In the second half, our defense tightened up, and the Hawks looked pretty pathetic. Even your favorite player took a charge - too which mike brown jumped up and down and pumped his fist. Mike even referenced how well our defense played through that play. Even the crowd started chanting "wally wally wally" shortly after.
All in all, everyone looked pretty good except Z. He missed a bunch of jumpers and even a few foul shots. He just looked old and had a hard time keeping up with the younger Hawks it seemed. And of course, Lebron played like the MVP.
We shouldn't lose a game this series; but if the Hawks shoot well, and our offense stands around and does nothing (like in the 3rd quarter of game 3 against the Pistons) we could lose one game in Atlanta.
Beast Man, There's a websight that you can watch the games live online.. channelsurfing.net this should be a solution for your dilemma.. BTW I clicked on three ads since Ive typed this comment
You don't have TNT?
I echo Weggles' thoughts for the most part...
I only saw the second half. I had some bs final presentation I couldn't miss. Anyways, from watching the highlights and the second half I do have some thoughts.
David Stern seemed really unprepared for the MVP ceremony. He was drowned out by the crowd chanting MVP right from the start, and stuttered and didn't really know what the hell he was saying. I will give him some credit though, as NBA commish, I would say he has this league as having the best reputation of any major league right now. But just give the mic to the King please and stick to your office work.
Slow start from everyone except LeBron, who obviously came ready to play and extremely focused as usual. He even threw the hammer down on the first play.
We just seemed to maintain and get the rust off in the first half and then turned it up when we needed too. Atlanta is really young and fast and energetic, and I think when we play them in Atlanta we need to dominate early so as to not give them confidence that they can play with us. I still think we will win in 5.
Bron and Mo, along with Andy's consistent offensive rebounding carried us this game, along with Delonte's usual solid play. Sasha played good defense but broke his nose... I think he will be wearing a mask tonight. As long as he knows that is his role now, I don't have a problem with him on the floor. Wally continues to make big shots and big plays- and he gets so freaking pumped when the crowd chants his name. I love it. And you do too, Dave.
I have such a man crush on LeBron right now. He is a freaking boss. Oh, and another 5 wouldn't hurt... http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=4088722&categoryid=3025809.
